Her horn damage also was shinning during this scene. This fragment of Hanyuu in her Nekodamashi appearance, gives Rika full death memories, something Eua claimed that the "broken horn" couldn't do. She also never does her "auau" thing even though she did it in Higurashi flashbacks shown in Gou. Notably though, during this Hanyuu's first scene, she actually uses the wrong first person pronoun before going back to "Boku". Then Satoko talked with Eua about allowing Rika to keep her memories and at some point we haven't gotten back to yet, a 1988 Rika is dragged back into Satoko's loops, meeting someone who claims to be fragments of Hanyuu.
However, she seemed to reference Hanyuu as "broken horn", which makes it sound like someone different from herself. She seems to know everything about Hanyuu and Rika (and even referenced the memory leaks during the original Higurashi as being caused by her power). Then, in 1988, Satoko meets Eua, who first appears when she touches a broken horn from Hanyuu's original living body. After Matsuri, Hanyuu was in peace and disappeared in the sea of fragments (kind of like what happened to perfect world Hanyuu in Rei/Saikoroshi).
